Another tithe raid? Sat May 23 K'del

Word came in via a number of Glacier riders on the morning of the 25th day
of Month 10, reporting that an attempted attack on the Crom tithe train
had been made, but that they'd been able to protect the tithe, which was
to be ushered in with rider assistance later in the day. No one seems to
know exactly what happened, and how the Glacier riders came to be
involved, though it's certainly interesting that A'son and Leova have
turned up again at much the same time. Planned? Coincidence? Or was it
just A'son's birthday bender turned useful?
Whilst the thieves have reportedly gotten away, there is rumour floating
about that at least one of them /was/ captured, and that he's being held
by the weyr somewhere. It's good news, if that's the case: it's about time
the weyr managed to fix this little problem of theirs.
Whatever happened, K'del is looking exceptionally pleased with himself,
and the Glacier riders involved have all been given a double restday in
thanks.
