The Crystal Ice Egg rocks violently for a moment, then settles back into its depression in the sand. After a few moments, the egg shudders, sand grains tubmling outward from its base. Shuddering a second time, the shell bursts into splintering fragments as a Marbled Green Hatchling emerges fromthe tumbling shards.
Marbled Green Hatchling
Seeming to be ready to take on all of Pern, this fiery little green virtually pounces on her shards, trouncing them into the sands as if getting even for their hardness. She gives a creel of hunger and then bugles to her clutchmates, moving past them quickly as she heads towards the semi-circle of candidates. With her wings fully extended, you can see the unique marbling of rich greens with a much lighter, milky colored green along her sides and her belly. She carries herself with a bold determination, creeling her hunger as she begins searching for her lifemate.
