Autumn at Telgar Weyr Egg
Without too much more fuss, the Autumn at Telgar Weyr Egg breaks open and a blue hatchling's head appears, then his body. He shakes a shard from his snout and looks about him.
Vitreus Elbaite Blue
His hide is the hard, cross-sectioned blue of translucent tourmaline that is found in the southern mines. As the blue follows the cut of the muscles, his hide shows veins of a darker color as if you are viewing him down the long axis of a crystal, the striations radiating in all directions on his form. Each movement he makes causes his hide to shimmer, seeming to show stronger or different colours as if the twin Pernese moons have dedicated their light to illuminate the mineral. Large in comparison to the rest of his form, his whirling jeweled eyes glow, giving his head the appearance of being small but in no way are detrimental to his boundless energy as he leaves behind the fallenshards of his egg and searches for his lifemate.
