Pitch Brown Egg
Light almost seems to disappear into this meter long egg's ebony depths. Like the pitch used to seal the great sailing ships and make them seaworthy, this egg is virtually sealed tight by just its smooth dark pitch color, rather than its physical shell.
Shards of a pitch brown dragon egg finally rips open as the green hatchling uses a sharp claw to tear open an escape.
Struggling Green Hatchling
This pine green hatchling squawks piteously in her struggle to enter the world, but then calms down a bit as she realizes she has freed herself. She looks around with a bit of self-pride, then warbles her hunger. She's close to being the size of a small blue, and definitely has worked up a hunger of one. Her size, however, is making her very awkward and clumsy at the moment, making her trip and fall.. much to her annoyance.
