| What: Hematite's pranks continue but now they are targeting their own riders. |

| It was the morning of day 15 that Laurienth unexpectedly rose - and was unsurprisingly caught by the Weyrsecond's brown Wroth - and it was by afternoon of the same day that word got out that some of E'dre's Hematite wingmates had pulled a rather indelicate prank on one of their own, and, in a manner of speaking, on the Weyrlingmaster. The exact story is a muddle, but fragments include the Weyrsecond leaving the flight weyr dressed in only a sheet, some laddish commentary about Ebeny, and mutterings from Jasper, the greenrider's former wing, about etiquette and going too far. Since the flight, Ebeny has spent most of her time in the weyrling complex, supposedly preparing for the new clutch, but, given certain elements of the story, more likely utterly humiliated. So far, if the Weyrleader has heard about it all, he's not so much as chastised any of his wingmates for their actions, and, at this stage, seems unlikely to. |
