Confused rumors make their way back to High Reaches Weyr in the middle of the 5th month. Something /happened/ at Crom Hold, and very few people seem sure of exactly what it was. Tongues wag... Some time during the night, with Eidenth and I'dyn on watchduty to confirm it, Wyaeth and Nikoth left between together. Gossip-mongers whisper that Jaireth also left the Weyr that night, but not with the others, so maybe one has nothing to do with the other? Jaireth and B'yan came back an hour or two after midnight anyway, so they're probably unrelated, seeing as A'son and N'thei never made it back to High Reaches. People in the lower caverns add in that A'son's brother Jolak is also notably missing; neither of the riders were at drills, and Jolak never showed up for his duties. By mid-morning, Satiet and Teonath left the Weyr-- for Crom Hold. Though the details are unknown, eventually the picture starts to form. Telgar riders caught A'son, N'thei, and Jolak in the midst of some nefarious plot to rob Crom. The three spent the night in the Crom holding cells, and there's no idea what's to happen to them from there-- stupid kids!
