Convict Candidates Confirmed
RL Date: 22 February, 2010
Involves: High Reaches Weyr
Type: Update
What: Convicts are to be allowed to stand for Iovniath and Cadejoth's clutch.
When: Day 8, Month 1, Turn 22 (Interval 10)

It's been a fair few days since that convict got searched, and no confirmation made whether this is something that's going to be allowed or not. Then, finally, on the eighth day of the first month, word goes out: convicts /are/ to be allowed the opportunity to stand, should search dragons take an interest in them, though they're to continue working with the other convicts - and will be sleeping in a segregated portion of the candidate barracks.

Still, they're unlikely to be under as strict guard as their un-searched fellows, and the barracks are definitely better digs... and then there's the whole possibility of the rest of their sentence being commuted, should they actually Impress. Is there any wonder more than a few convicts have already started eyeing dragons hopefully?

To make matters even more complicated, the latest addition to the barracks is no less than one of the guards tasked to watching over the convicts... which puts him in an interesting position, indeed.

Are the barracks safe? Is the weyr as a whole? Has K'del really lost it this time?
