| At first it was simply a handful of carefully selected riders, sent to Fort Weyr on K'del's orders to retrieve some people and take them to Boll. Now, in the sevenday that has followed, more and more riders have found their duties to include the occasional trip down south, to fetch and carry for Lord Jivrain and his people. Official word on the subject is short, and to the point: High Reaches has made an agreement to provide services to Boll on a pay-per-use basis. Riders are to be on their best behaviour, and provide every courtesy when engaging with the Holders. More than a few eyes have turned towards Fort Weyr. Certainly, it's not a secret that relations between Boll and Fort have been strained of late (a certain group of riders might be full of tales from that infamous gather-gone-wrong)... but what does this mean for High Reaches and Fort? For the future? Do K'del and Tiriana really know what they're doing? How long is this arrangement meant to last? |
