| OOC Notes: Feel free to respond to the news however you like! Say 'good riddance!' and refuse to go look for the missing Lord, grab friends and go searching for Astivan all over Pern- you can even use it as an excuse to play hooky from your regular duties or to grab drinks down in Ista where it's nice and warm. You know, in case Astivan runs off to the island to escape. Or something. |
| Misfortune has struck the Fort region once more, setting turn 37 off with a bad start. On day 7, the Weyrleader (notably absent his counterpart Hattie or her gold Elaruth) took dragonriders to Fort Hold with the intention of collecting the rest of the tithe supposedly still owed to the Weyr from the autumn tithe. Not only was there nothing to collect but the Lord Holder, Astivan, had mysteriously disappeared overnight. According to Astivan's brother and appointed Steward, Vaion, the Lord Holder sold the tithe intended for the Weyr and took off with all the marks - and a considerable few more from the Hold's coffers. Weyrfolk - not just dragonriders - have been invited to join in the search for the missing Lord Holder. The search parties consist of a combination of ground crews and detailed sweeps, staring from within the Hold. There is a clear request that Lady Darcy not be disturbed as she is reported to be in poor condition and was not available publicly at the time to comment on her husband's disappearance. |
