| Egg Touchings In the next seven, egg touchings will be allowed as the eggs have gotten harder and many veteran Weyrfolk are saying any day now. While these won't be PC-run, if you are a candidate, please feel free to play around being brought out onto the sands by Irianke or H'vier, who will give guidelines of what you can and cannot do on the sands:
Meat Meat, meat, sweet delicious meat. Mid-month seven is looking much perkier in terms of the herds and the herders have released their meat rationing restrictions. It may take a seven for things to right themselves in the kitchens, but meat is back on the menu, folks! Cave-In The aftermaths of the cave-in have found the area the cave-in occured in rife with both workers and investigators. Three crafts are working together (albeit not always well), to retrofit and stabilize the entire area. They are also taking a long overdue maintenance inspection of the Weyr's insides and outsides. Deals Day 15 of Month 7 comes with an announcement at dinner time when Irianke rises, and Niahvth commands quiet of dragons' riders in the living caverns, which then causes lower cavern residents to hush. "Igen Weyr and High Reaches have reached a new settlement in regards to the clutch on the sands. No weyrling will be asked to transfer upon graduation, but up to four green or blue weyrlings who wish to volunteer may do so. They must express their interest prior to four months post-Impression and officially notify the weyrlingmaster staff and Weyrleaders. Should there be more than four," and it's clear from Irianke's voice that this does not seem a likely possibility to her, "We entrust the weyrlingmaster team to make appropriate selections." Other parts of the renegotiated deal are not shared and after stating that in a clear, reaching voice, Irianke sits and continues with her meal. More details of the deal may come forth post-hatching. |
