| « That is so not fair. » The brown rumbled in irritation watching with faintly yellow flecked eyes as Pyrite wiggled her way into the warmth of Edyis's flight jacket with a happy scree. « Sometimes I think you only let her get away with that because it makes you look less flat there. » A flush of warmth flooded the brownrider's cheeks, "Jealousy, does not become you, I am not flat." Pulling the pouch of Jerky Edyis had learned to carry from the bag at her side and pulling a small piece out to feed to the little gold. « Flatter than Aeaeth's, » Is his chuffed answer, curling up and looking away from the shameful spectacle. « I'm going to tell Ilicaeth you've been feeding her extra again. » "Then you can forget about me using that scented oil, you can make due with that stuff from the weyrling barrels and get snubbed by all the girls." Edyis snaps in reply, an impish smile curling on her lips. Is it feigned hurt or real? « Why don't you let her take you flying all over Pern, since you let her ride around in your jacket. » A sniffle from the brown beast, though possibly an act. "If you would fit I'd let you ride around, don't get so bent out of shape. She only likes me because I feed her and spoil her." Edyis points out. « Yeah, maybe that's the only reason I like you too. » Now Petulant. Pyrite crawls out now and zips off, presumably to find a certain green eyed blonde, leaving Edyis and her pouting brown. Who gets scratches on that spot just above his hind quarters. « Ok, so I'll forgive you. This time. » "I'm glad your so magnanimous." Edyis laughs. |
