| The general reasons for a transfer for golds include health reasons and/or becoming the senior queen elsewhere. So it was a surprise for some when Tavrie and her fertile gold Nabrimeth were seen packed and departing the Weyr. News began to filter through the Weyr quickly though, that the southern Weyrs are far more hardpressed than they'd let on with these intermittent Threadfalls and that Monaco, in particular, had suffered a loss with a gold grounded for the rest of her foreseeable life due to injuries. Newly flush with fertile queens after the political maneuvering of Jaispe for Josilina, High Reaches found itself in the position of being the only Weyr capable of relinquishing a gold permanently, and did so, some say after some heavyhanded trade negotiations with Monaco. There are rumors of tropical fruits and a steady stream of general goods coming in for the next half turn, or so say rumors. OOC: I've struggled with difficult times IRL for two years and allowed that to really hold me back from being the kind of goldrider that HRW was really looking for. I missed the marker I set for myself by a mile and I know I've likely let a few others down on my way. I've come to realize that it is time for me to pull back and fix things in my life and that means letting go of Tavrie despite how much the 'Reaches means to me.
