| Edyis paced, shedding extra layers as she went until she was pacing the floor of her weyr in little more than a loose tunic and shorts, even that felt like too much. Get it together. She told herself, flapping the tunic as she stepped out on the ledge to find some relief. Letting the familiar chill of High Reaches bite into her skin. She'd more or less sensed proddy dragons before, mostly via Akluseth who would simply get more restless than usual. The warning that one day, eventually he would chase. This was, unfortunately, different, she could feel the brown's restlessness that building agitation. She could feel it building in her belly too, that strange warmth. That dual awareness was far, far worse. "Fucking golds." She mutters with disgust as understanding of this new restless sensation finally dawns on her. Akluseth's tail twitches, the brown craning his neck to give her a look. "I am perfectly aware that it is disrespectful to swear at them, but the least she could do is keep her glowing to herself. She'll be like this forever before she goes up." Edyis snaps to the brown. Still pacing, still feeling the warmth... « Should I call Largath? » "Golds.'' Edyis swore. |
