In the days immediately following H'vier's death, Fayla steps up to lead Iceberg, an arrangement that works well enough. Just short of two sevendays later, however, the news is announced to Iceberg, and then to the rest of the Weyr: Iceberg is to be disbanded, like Avalanche before it. Wingriders will be spread across the other wings, with the greatest majority going to Taiga, Alpine and Glacier... which, some would suggest, surely means that at least those wings are safe from this ongoing cull.
