| Mid month five, the harpers and scribes who work primarily in the Records have been set to work on what, on the surface, doesn't seem like a particularly odd task. Making copies of the Weyr's birth records only makes sense, after all, just in-case fate decides to eliminate the originals, but when word slips out that the copies aren't for the Weyrwoman, her junior or goldrider, but for Lady Jenilynn of Southern Boll, gossip turns understandably... darker. What does Jenilynn want with the /Weyr's/ birth records? And why only of the past decade? Why have the Weyrleaders agreed to let her not only see this information, but have her own copy of it? Obviously, there must be some illegitimate Bollian Blood in the Weyr somewhere, one of the scribes has been heard to joke. /Obviously/. |
