| What started out as what looked like a petty squabble between rival holders has recently escalated to what's either a competition of ridiculous proportions or... something arguably far uglier. Reports from most sweepriders have been littered with mentions of herdbeasts dead in the fields and irate holders flagging down riders to voice concerns, make accusations or just rant nonsensically - with good reason, some might say, for some are losing more and more valuable stock literally overnight. At present, the Weyr's herd looks to be decent health, but is it only a matter of time before Fort starts experiencing losses too? |
