Conveniently, G'laer is in the bowl. He's checking over the straps of one of the newest additions to Iceberg, frowning. "No. I see where you mean," he's agreeing with the rider. "Take it to the tanners. You're excused from drill this afternoon." A wingsecond's work is never done, it seems. Teisyth is only in evidence in the sky above and her rider's eyes drift to find her there for a moment before he's pivoting in his usual efficient style and striding toward the living cavern.

Yizibeth is no where to be seen, probably still cuddled up with Izazeth or maybe she found some other patient soul to put up with her cuddling. Z'riah is wandering in the bowl, though, probably more aimless than he'd care to admit. But it, conveniently, sets him up in G'laer's path on the way to the living cavern. And of course he sees the other greenrider. He even smiles like he's happy to see him despite how long it's been since they've spoken. "G'laer," he says, already moving toward the larger man. "Sir," is more afterthought than usual.

G'laer stops at the word, though surely he must have seen him before that. The man's azurite gaze settles on the other greenrider. "Z'riah," he is acknowledged without expression. Then G'laer waits. If Z'riah has something to say, he'll say it, according to G'laer. If not, the older man will move along.

Regardless of G'laer's expression, Z'riah can't help the visible smile when the other greenrider says his name. He doesn't actually seem to know what he wanted to say to the man, though, but when G'laer starts moving along, Z'riah says, "Wait. Please. I-- no." Words are hard. "It's been a long time."

"And?" That's encouraging, right? At least G'laer stops again.

And? That's, evidently, not a question Z'riah is prepared to answer. The younger greenrider seems confused and at a loss for words. But he needs to say something or G'laer will try to leave again. "And I miss you." That's a good answer, right?

G'laer looks unamused (but when doesn't he?). "You miss me." He repeats it in case Z'riah couldn't hear how stupid it sounded when he said it. He looks at Z'riah, and in five seconds he's walking away again. 5...4...3...

Z'riah nods, like he thinks it was a question rather than what G'laer actually intended. He looks kind of hopeful, even. (2... 1.) And then the older greenrider is walking away again. It takes Z'riah a moment to comprehend, then he's jogging after G'laer and reaching for his arm as he catches up. "Are you busy? Can I join you?"

The arm is pulled roughly from Z'riah's grasp. "I'm busy. No." G'laer's totally the right person to bring this brand of proddy to. Cuddle fest for everyone!

Z'riah stops when G'laer pulls his arm away. Whether the other greenrider looks back at him or not, Z'riah is obviously hurt. "Okay," he says after the other man. "I'm sorry." He's not going to keep following, anyway, so G'laer is free.
