| Guest Weyr, High Reaches Weyr
The cavern broadens as it stretches back away from the entrance to reveal a neatly made double-sized bed pushed up against the back wall, a press at its foot with an extra blanket folded on top of it and two chairs standing guard to either side of the hearth. A rectangular table lurks against the side wall, kept stocked with a pitcher of water and a basket of seasonal fruits. The weyr is well-lit and kept immaculately clean, the refreshing scents of citron-infused sweetsand mingling with the tang of herbs.
Solith, sleepy Solith, has the view out over the sunset that Olveraeth's shown her, or rather is showing her, the green admittedly most content to be tucked right up close to him, just as close as they can comfortably get and still be... comfortable. His wing helps, a delightful blanket that really she'd keep in her weyr if she could, though while she means to look at incipient stars... she's just so sleepy and he's so comfortable and her protection from the elements and everything else and she's still feeling so, so good. Telavi, by contrast, has the view of... actually, the view of the blue's rider has its own scenic qualities, what she can see of Quinlys through her own undone braids and her one barely-open eye, the other not even open at all. The greenrider doesn't so much shift as... sigh, sleepy, satisfied. Quinlys', "Mmm," has a sighing quality all of its own, coming, as it does, a few beats after Telavi's. Her own eyes have been closed, but they open again, now. She's pressed so close to the greenrider that she can't easily see her face... but she can lean her own face in and nuzzle, gently, at the other woman's shoulder. It doesn't bother Olveraeth even a little that Solith is inclined to fall asleep in the midst of his exhibition-- his thoughts are a low, comforting buzz and hum against the stars, as much inclined to encourage her sleep as to relate anything at all. He's undeniably content, closing his own eyelids and nuzzling his muzzle against hers, just so. Ah yes. That, that induces the greenrider to gradually stretch, lengthening the line of her neck for Quinlys' attentions, opening up where Quinlys opens her up. She's smiling, invisibly or not, and after a moment one or two of her toes move against the bluerider's still-on sock. Not to dislodge it. Just a touch, this while Solith might as well be the one with that same 'Mmm' for her starry, starry blue. Well, if she insists. Quinlys tilts her chin up, drawing her lips against Telavi's so conveniently bared neck. Like Rasavyth-fueled K'zin, she's prone to using her teeth; unlike him, she murmurs something that gets lost into the skin. But then she draws away again, and repeats(?): "I'm presenting pretending I don't need to face you across the classroom tomorrow. Let's keep it that way." It could break the mood, but she's also drawn herself up on one elbow so that she can smile down at the greenrider, and that smile? It's wholly unrepentant. « Mmm, » agrees Olveraeth, out there in the rising darkness. Mmm. She earns a breathy sound that isn't anything like complaint, a faint red flush rising on Tela's delicate skin exactly where Quinlys has put her teeth, and the greenrider really doesn't draw back in the slightest. She only murmurs, just as low and husky as she can get it, glancing through her loosened hair just like she might have done her lashes, "Yes... ma'am." Low and husky and disobedient and knowing, which means teasing, too, especially given that dimple that so-gradually appears like one of Olveraeth's stars. It could have wrecked things, could have destroyed the mood, but between Telavi's dimple and the tone of her voice, Quinlys can only look smug, and lower her face towards the greenrider's. "Did no one ever teach you obedience?" she wonders, and evidently she's feeling a little less of the post-orgasmic languor, now, because her expression is more focused, and her fingers are tangling into the greenrider's hair as she leans down to kiss her. "I think," Telavi says as a secret, lowering her voice that much more as the bluerider draws that much more nigh, "I think, Quinlys," such a warm and deliberate use of the other woman's name before her voice starts to get that breathy quality again, "that people might have tried." Such long hair she has, such should-have-been-chopped hair; Quinlys would be able to hold her still with it if Telavi minded more the tug, but no, she presses up even so into the other woman's kiss... only to tease along her lip. They'd shared such things, but this? "There are a few other methods I should have tried," teases Quinlys in return, clearly not minding the use of her name (and really, it would be silly for her to, at this point), nor that lip-teasing that made her sigh, her words still half-buried in the other woman's mouth and skin. She sighs a second time, then, draping herself back upon the pillow, still tangled up in and on Telavi. She's probably even lying on some of that hair. "This," she says, content. "Is my favourite part." Telavi has a slow smile for that, for that answer and those reactions and just plain Quinlys, just now. "It's a good part," she's decided, especially with the opportunity to free a hand to tease some of that red hair away from the bluerider's face, admiring it against her skin, admiring what she can now see of her eyes. If somewhere, out there, there are people chasing down beastly escapees... why, that's not her job, that's not something she even begins to think about. At least, it's not her job yet. "Is it always this good?" and now that's a silly question, but Tela realizes that much as she asks it. Given her quiet laugh, she doesn't seem to mind. Quinlys tips her head up, all the better to nudge her face against Tela's hand, even if the greenrider had been after her hair instead. She's got a grin for the first thing that gets said, and a laugh that echoes hers for the other. "It can be," she confirms, stretching out her legs in a way that doesn't withdraw them, just extends them as far as they can towards Tela's toes. "And then, sometimes, it's the person who freaks out, and it was good, so good, and there's nothing like flight sex... and then it's awkward, because they are." Why, then Tela can't help but laugh again, and slide her hand along Quinlys' face from chin to cheekbones and higher, petting: slow, regular caresses if the bluerider doesn't intercept those too. "Mmm. I want to say that sounds... awkward... but that's just what you said, of course." She may be a touch rueful, but hardly chagrined: more like it's a compliment to the occasion. After a moment she parts her lips, she might say more... but in the end she's just smiling all over again, more than just a little, and tucks her toes beneath the slightly shorter woman's as though Quinlys were standing atop Tela's feet. This time, there's no interception: Quinlys seems to luxuriate in being touched like that, and perhaps her toes would even curl, except that they're busy exploring Tela's feet through their socks. "Most of the time, it's just... wonderful," though the bluerider continues, bypassing rue and focusing, instead on the smile. "And sometimes, there's a round two, or even three, because whatever the time of day is, no one's going to look for you until morning." It's such incentive for Telavi to keep petting Quinlys, then, although sometimes, with different strokes, her fingers do like to sink into the other woman's hair or her thumb trace the outer line of her ear, right down to the lobe where there's no ring at all. "Sometimes. Why didn't we plan this for lunchtime, then?" A nooner. And while she's at it, she also teases, "I was just going to wonder, if there's nothing like flight sex... well." "Next time," suggests Quinlys. "It's not my fault Solith decided to delay all afternoon." Only too many words is really, in a way, too much of a distraction from the fingers doing such lovely, shivery things to her skin. Lower, in a more sultry voice: "But for now... better make the most of the opportunity while we can, mmm?" Because, naturally, it's a given a this point, the way Quin's fingers are now resuming some explorations of their own. "Next time." It has a velvet quality, said like that in Telavi's voice, such close kindred to Quinlys'."We'll have to convince her to get going." As long as she doesn't then wind up with someone far less stay-able than Quinlys herself, but there's no thought to that now. "You are very convincing." 'Convince me of something else,' she could say, but instead she presses into Quinlys' touch with the sort of welcome that for once doesn't need words. She'll disentangle her hair, later, or possibly during; she'll feel that ache on her hip-- and would Quinlys kiss it to make it better? --she'll meet up with Solith, later yet, and let herself think of other things, particular people, none of whom are in bed with them right now. Later. This is for the two-or-four of them, this is so very much for now. Later. For now-- there are hips (and other places) that need kissing, and Quinlys is definitely the girl to do it. It's possible that the student-teacher thing will rear its ugly head tomorrow, or the next day, but for now... there is nothing but this. |
