| What: Young Blooded holders are being brought to Fort Hold, but for what purpose? |

| As Fort Hold attempts to put itself back together in the wake of the disappearance of its Lord, rumour has it that several young Bloods from nearby minor Holds have taken up residence in the struggling Hold. Nearly a sevenday has gone by since Emalan of Ruatha River, not yet twelve turns old, was brought to and left at Fort by his mother, Holder Briallan, and others of the similar rank and age have since occupied some of the Hold's empty quarters. Worries of another event such as that which Astivan used to find his bride have been assuaged by the youth of the new arrivals, and the fact that both boys and girls have settled in for a visit. Are they there to witness firsthand how to heal what's been damaged? To cement new ties? To pass information to their homes? Speaking of Astivan's bride, there have been few to no sightings of Lady Darcy, who is said to never to leave her quarters, since her husband's disappearance. Word from her ladies claims that she rarely leaves her bed, and that her situation is in-fact far worse than official statements suggest - so much so that she isn't expected to see out the turn. |
