| It's early in the morning on the fourteenth day of the first month, Turn 39, that Niahvth and Cadejoth raise their voices to welcome the hatching of their clutch. By the time a proper breakfast is ready in the caverns, it's all over, but not without incident. Yes, there's a new bronze, two browns, four blues and fives greens... but there are also three eggs unhatched, immediately taken between by K'del and F'manis. For Cadejoth and Niahvth, there are some moments of quiet grief-- but neither seems inclined to linger. Life, after all, goes on.
