It was nearly lunchtime on the twenty-fifth day of month seven, turn thirty-seven, when the dragons began to hum at High Reaches; a welcome distraction from recent tragedies. When the last of the eggs had finally hatched, a combined tally of one gold, two bronze, three brown, five blue and six green dragons were added to High Reaches' roster.
