| After spending a long and cranky day treading around on the Sands, Peirith finally curled up close around a tight mound of eggs. The queen hasn't been very accommodating about letting anyone count her precious clutch, but estimates place the number around 18, a very healthy size for this late in the Interval. Faranth knows the Fort area needs something to be upbeat about since the fabric shortages continue to get more dire as stores are dipped into and Fort Sea continues to sit on a number of shipments that were made in the autumn but never left the port hold. |
