This is the weekly plot summary for High Reaches Weyr - covering the week of April 14 - April 21 (For last week, click here): 7/31 Tomaeran wakes on the morning of his (second) wedding to Carilee of Tillek. The silver thread program does not sit well with all weyrlings. D'kan & N'hax discuss. Mave asks for, and receives permission for space to hold her play. Aishani wonders why she's not looking for more to do with her life. H'kon and Z'ian discuss the drills and the state of things. Azaylia finds a mentor in weyrwoman Kyouri at Benden Weyr. Z'ian tries to approach Taikrin about Iceberg and the other wings. It goes not-as-bad as it might. Later, Jo tries to smooth things over with Z'ian, but at least honestly. Sabella (in the leadership program) has an awkward chat over feeding with D'kan and Alida (not in the program). D'kan and Azaylia chat. D'kan wonders if the silver threads breed more division than otherwise. Aishani and Z'ian discuss Tillek and Taikrin. Z'ian offers help; Shani wonders if he ought to be helping Taikrin in a more official capacity. The Greenfields bosses come to visit Jo and Sabella. The Vijay deal might be on. Jo and Sabella throw knives and talk about the situation with Family and Weyr. Sabs has Opinions. Alida asks K'zin for a favor - to share what he learns. They continue to build their friendship. N'ky and D'kan discuss flying and the leadership program. K'zin and N'ky make clay dragons - and also discuss the leadership program, and the frustration of not being in it.
