This is the weekly plot summary for High Reaches Weyr - covering the week of April 7 - April 13 (For last week, click here): 6/31 Aishani and Taikrin discuss fixing the 'hidebound' wings in their morning meeting. K'del is promoted to Taiga's Wingsecond. Mave continues her training, and asks for Bones' help with her project. Z'ian congratulates K'del. They discuss the situation in the wings. Jo and Taikrin catch up and likewise discuss the wings and Weyr. K'zin turns himself in to Quinlys for rule-breaking. Taikrin congratulates K'del. No one dies. Alida asks Quinlys about the leadership program. It goes poorly. Sabella is killing herself to get into the leadership program. Mave tells D'kan of her concerns about 'one of the weyrlings'. Alida and K'zin make an alliance of sorts. E'sren's family comes to visit and help with Mave's play. Quinlys hires herself a new Assistant Weyrlingmaster, I'zech. Meara checks in with C'wlin. Athimeroth is impatient. Telavi and Sabella mock people and talk ambitions. D'kan comes to Quinlys about Mave's concerns. He has ideas. Quin has insecurities. It all works out. Leova gives Anvori a firelizard egg, though not under the usual happy circumstances. Mave asks for N'hax's advice. Jhorinth keeps the dragonhealers in business. Azaylia and K'zin catch up after he's turned himself in. E'sren tells Quinlys that he's volunteered for Mave's play. He gets tapped into the leadership program. I'zech meets some of the weyrlings. They're super impressed. 7/31 N'ky's speech therapy takes a detour as he asks advice of Madilla. E'sren and Telavi - both in the leadership program - discuss that and the implications. Aishani and K'zin discuss politics. Really! Alida invites Azaylia to join she and K'zin in their workouts. R'co and K'del have drinks and discuss the leadership situation. Aishani goes to see Lady Edeline at Tillek. She bears gifts, but is surprised by an impending wedding... the one Z'ian heard about. After meeting with Edeline, Aishani meets up with Jo in the kitchen. They discuss Holds and the Weyr. Aishani asks E'sren if one of his family might go to 'watch' the wedding at Tillek. He agrees, going to speak to Siobahn and Seamus about it right after. Telavi either has cramps or scams Madilla. Lady Tillek's eldest step-daughter, Carilee, is wed to Tomaeran of High Reaches Hold. High Reaches Weyr's leadership is pointedly not invited.
