This is the weekly plot summary for High Reaches Weyr - covering the week of August 25 - 31 (For last week, click here): Month 8 K'del and Alida bathe and discuss events at Fort. K'del goes to see Ali. They talk about the Boll incident and Boll and Nabol's succession problems. Aishani might have made an enemy... or a reputation in a meeting with a Vijay contact. Aishani visits an injured N'rov at Fort. She's tired of the attacks on goldriders. Aishani and Madilla catch up on recent events. The Healer agrees to speak to her colleagues about the late Lord Nabol's death. H'kon mistimes his return from Tillek. Madilla is glad he's not dead. Aishani visits Hattie at Fort. They agree to try to arrange a secret meeting of weyrwomen to address the issue of violence against them. Alida and Aishani discuss the former guard's thoughts on training and guarding the goldriders -- and keeping them in control of it. Telavi and Israfi 'interrogate' one another. Month 9 On Day 2, Month 9, Hraedhyth clutches 12 eggs, which she is ferociously protective over, as is the territorial queen's way. Tsanth and few others are permitted on the sands, though the galleries are open a short time after. The Weyrleaders request search be kept inside the Weyr and restrict searches of the Blooded, to avoid further issues (like N'gan). (+bbread 5/63)
