This is the weekly plot summary for High Reaches Weyr - covering the week of May 13 - 19 (For last week, click here): As Aishani alluded to, Quielle is pregnant. Telavi has words with another weyrling over it, and talks to Quinlys about perceived injustice. I'zech asks Azaylia about the queens forcing the wings into mock threadfall. After Aishani reveals K'del turned down her offer of the Weyrleadership, Z'ian goes to talk to K'del. He tells the Wingleader that Ysavaeth's final flight was faked... and soon, the whole Weyr knows. Jo and Telavi are understandably concerned. After Ysavaeth's secret is out, Aishani wonders if she wants her job. N'rov wonders how she'd burn the place down if she was going to. That same night, Z'ian turns up in Jo's weyr, drunk and deeply bewildered. She does her best to help him make sense of it all. The night after the Ysavaeth reveal, Telavi and I'zech talk about pregnant weyrlings, the weyrlings that knocked them up, and dragons in general. Alida and D'kan meet on the rim of the bowl and discuss revealed secrets, and Quielle and N'gan. Aishani calls in Vienne for help with a letter from Crom. She has some sobering realizations, despite fun drinks. Tithes come to High Reaches from Tillek! Yay! They're addressed to Wingleader Z'ian! Boo! Aishani and Azaylia go to deal with Lady Edeline, who agrees to release the tithe after a tense discussion. Unbeknownst to Shani at the time, Z'ian arranges for the tithe to be accepted, along with Vienne, D'kan and C'wlin - tipped off by Azaylia. Aishani and Jo exchange information in the ongoing Greenfields/Vijay negotiations. They also discuss the tithes and the latest revelations. C'wlin and Telavi play the 'no, YOU answer first' game, and C'wlin's doing side-work for someone, but who? Telavi and Alida discuss Weyr politics, weyrling politics, and hatch a plot. Lujayn and Rielsath visit High Reaches, Lujayn to request a meeting with Aishani. Surprisingly, it's to lend support. The day after Lujayn's visit, Telavi visits E'sren. They discuss the political and the personal. Telavi and Sabella mean to paint, but mostly talk about fighting wingleaders, weyrling wingleaders, and weyrlingmasters. Azaylia and Z'ian discuss the situation with Tillek's tithes and Ysavaeth's fake flight. Azaylia offers her help. E'ten comes to not-apologize for punching K'del during Isyath's flight. There is much talk about who's going to be at which goldflights in a manly way. Aishani, Jo and Vienne walk into a bar. They drink and talk about family until Shani's a buzzkill. :( While Issedi is in labour with their second child, creepy weird exile Rilka is called by Devaki to make promises on behalf of The Sea.
