This is the weekly plot summary for High Reaches Weyr - covering the week of September 8 - 14 (For last week, click here): Month 9 Alida calls a meeting with Jo and Taikrin about training weyrwomen. There are mild differences in opinion. K'zin and Aukiri enjoy the hatching feast for the Weyrleaders' clutch. Alida stops by to talk more with Azaylia about goldrider training. Azaylia has some doubts. Alida and Suireh go hunting for a body in Nabol and find it, much to the harper's chagrin. Month 10 H'vier makes a deal with Rhey and family to have someone inside the Nabolese militia. Some tithes do come in from the Nabol area, via Iceberg riders... but so too do Nabolese refugees. Also, Huelet, Ustelan's eldest son, appears to have died in his sleep. The Nabol situation continues to get better and better. (+bbread 5/19) K'zin, Suireh and Israfi get (re-)acquainted over drinks. While visiting Lady Issedi, Azaylia meets with Devaki. They make a deal for the Hold to take some of the Weyr's refugees... though at Azaylia's expense. The High Reaches Hold tithe comes in, in full, five days later, and travel restrictions over the area are revoked. (+bbread 5/20) Iesaryth rises in her second flight; her first at High Reaches. Aishani stabs H'vier in the arm. Fort's Vhaeryth catches.
