| It's been a few days since what's left of Rone's leadership were taken into custody, and while news of the raid -- and Rone's untimely demise -- have spread through the Weyr, the details remain sketchy. It seems that the lot are divided into (at least) two factions, each blaming the other for the death of their would-be Lord Holder. Others within the Weyr itself question whether Y'rel, who was keen to go after Rone from the start, had something to do with said death, though of course the bronzerider denies it (broodily). And although the imprisoned ringleaders have received visits from the Acting Weyrleader K'del and Weyrwoman Azaylia (and even junior weyrwoman Aishani, who can't let anything happen without sticking her nose into it), no one is being particularly forthcoming about what, if anything, they've learned. |
