| What: Eleven of Fort's riders remain confined to the Weyr, but not the Weyrleader. |

| For eleven of Fort's riders, the new turn is certainly not a happy one. These eleven have been locked down to solitary confinement in their weyrs for the foreseeable future, permitted to the living cavern for the evening meal only. Their dragons are free to roam the skies, but they are not allowed to accompany them, according to rumour. How long is this for? What did they do? Nobody seems to know. One of the dozen remains free to go where he wishes and do as he pleases. The formerly grounded Weyrleader doesn't seem to be sharing the punishment for whatever it is that the group have done. Did he earn his freedom by informing on them? Or is it his knot that has spared him? Whatever the case may be, he might not be so popular with certain riders anymore. While some riders are being punished, others have been selected for 'high priority' duties that take them away from the Weyr for long stretches at a time. Apparently, they are refusing to share what they're doing with their wingmates. |
