| What: There is something wrong with Elaruth's clutch. |

| It's at some hour on day 9, month 13, that Elaruth seems to make some sort of decision about her clutch, and moves the four much more rounded eggs that caused her so much trouble to sit slightly away from the rest of the them. They're not moved far, and certainly remain within easy reach of where she's chosen to settle herself for the day, but there's a distinct separation between those four and the other ten eggs. When the dragonhealers catch word of this and attempt to get a decent look at the shells and the queen herself, they're turned away by the Weyrwoman, who takes up a vigil in place of any other, subtly watching to make sure her usually maternal queen continues to tend to those spherical eggs. |
