What: A fight between Jasper riders is instigated by Astivan's claimed baby-momma.

Witnesses state that the fight broke out in the training room: that some of the older members of Jasper tried to haul the their younger wingmates out to attend their duties in the search for Fort Hold's missing Lord. Only one went quietly. The others protested both physically and verbally, shouting all sorts about Astivan, reportedly told to them by the young weyrling brownrider currently shadowing the wing. The upshot is that those sweeps were never done, and the infirmary was filled by eight riders from Jasper suffering from various degrees of injury (if hurt pride counts as an injury). Apparently, the aforementioned weyrling later visited her 'champions' ('favourites', in the words of the Journeyman on duty) and did little by way of soothing ruffled feathers.
