| What: A supply ship is raided on the seas between Boll and Gar. |
| When: Day 14, Month 12, Turn 20 (Interval 10) |
| On day 14 of the 12th month of turn 20, news filters back to the Weyr via watchriders and others that a supply ship out of Boll and heading for Gar was sacked by an unidentified vessel. The unknown ship was small and fast and carried a crew of masked raiders who forced the supply ship to weigh anchor by maneuvering between the supply ship and the open sea with dangerous shoals preventing any other exit. Upon boarding, the supply ship was emptied of goods and the crew knocked unconscious. When they came to, everything that was of any sort of value had been lifted and carried off, but none of them has any idea where. Other than some bruises and bumps to the head, no one was seriously hurt and no one was killed. What /is/ the world coming to though that a regular shipping run can be attacked in broad daylight in this manner? Who's responsible? And more importantly, who is going to /do/ something about it? |
