| What: There are missing supplies in Ruatha River's tithe. |

| Word in the caverns is that either people aren't being very careful with their use of supplies or that said supplies have never turned up in the first place. At first, it could be understood that when a couple of very young apprentices claimed that they were missing vital materials for their components of commissions, that perhaps the goods were ruined by accident and they were too scared to admit it. But rumour has it that a Journeyman tanner was seen to throw a fit one morning upon discovering that what he'd ordered for a commission due that seven still hadn't appeared after over two sevens of waiting; that a harper was left scratching legal documents across second-rate paper when the order she'd already handed over half the marks for never showed. And now, as tithe from Ruatha River Hold arrives at the Weyr, there are murmurs of it being incomplete. Not only an item here and there or of one specific type, but numbers down across the board. That which Fort Sea has sent appears to be all in order, but the fact remains that everything will be checked and checked again. |
