It was afternoon when R'co left High Reaches, which puts it a few hours ahead now that he's in Igen. The sun's almost down, a burnt crimson smudge on the horizon that makes for a pretty stunning sunset, if you're inclined to look at such things. Normally the brownrider and his dragon would take a moment to appreciate the sight, only... « Look! » Deveriteauxth's excitement, so soon after having lost Hraedhyth to Tsanth, surprises R'co, but the image he picks up from his dragon's head is absolutely, crystal clear: there's a dark green dragon taking to the pens even as they circle down to the ground, and... well, that's timing for you, isn't it? Deveriteauxth plummets to the ground, barely waiting for R'co to jump clear before he's joining in the fray. His rider's left disoriented, not knowing where he's supposed to go in such circumstances - he's never been caught up in a flight in Igen before. As he starts to strip off his riding gear to cool down a touch in the desert heat, he casts his gaze about to try and figure out where the guest weyr may be. Just in case he's needed... because who could be unlucky enough to lose two flights in one day?

Some people have that sort of luck. And some people have the sort of luck to get too near K'tri before he's damn good and ready. If R'co is looking for the riders of the flight, then he might notice a bluerider skulking out of a weyr with a bloodied nose. Taraveth certainly doesn't mind newcomers though. The more the merrier to see her off into the steadily darkening skies. K'tri keeps away from the others though, pacing back and forth with arms crossed over his chest. "Hurry up already..."

Deveriteauxth's straight in there, snapping at a blue to shunt him out of the way so that he can blood a herdbeast. He's tired from the flight he's just left, but the prospect of wooing another maiden is enough to refuel those spent batteries - and hot blood does him plenty of favours, too. When a bronze protests the presence of a foreign dragon Dev responds with a snap of his jaws and a lashing tail; uncharacteristic, yes, but dammit, he's in need of getting some. That poor bluerider with the busted nose is enough of an indicator as R'co needs, and the rider trots on over in that direction, peeping his head in to assess the scene before slipping inside fully. It's hot, and so he takes off his jacket, gloves and helmet, dropping them onto the nearest surface before standing back and watching that pacing rider who, he guesses from the way the others in the room are watching him, is probably the other half of the blooding green's mind.

Hot? Yes, it's terribly hot in Igen. K'tri hardly thinks about it before shedding his tunic. It's tossed aside with a glare as yet another rider comes inside. He stops moving rather suddenly though, as if his brain can't quite manage..steps. After all, the other half of it is leaping into the air with a taunting cry, careening skyward and into the night.

Lucky R'co, getting not only a greenflight, but a hot greenrider to boot! "You're so much better," he coos appreciatively to K'tri as he comes in a little closer, admiring the now half-naked rider's figure. So much better than what, exactly? The Igenite will be left wondering, as the brownrider gives no clues. He probably couldn't even if he tried anyway, as he slips further into Deveriteauxth's mind when his lifemate springs skywards, giving chase to the dark maiden. All the others in the flight be damned, because he is determined to script this scene to his advantage; the parchment-pale brown is out for a win, and will settle for nothing less.

K'tri gives R'co a scathing look. For his words or how close he is? Maybe both. The greenrider moves away again once he's able to move, and rests his back against the cold wall nearby. It helps at least, even if he's becoming too unfocused to really see any of the others in the room very well. Taraveth whips through the air above though, banking and rolling as she plays keep away with the males following her. It won't last long, however. The green lacks the stamina for too long of a flight.

... which is just as well for Deveriteauxth, as his adrenaline will only keep him going for so long before those aching wing muscles kick in. He drops his gentlemanly facade in favour of some dirtier tactics, buffeting a blue out of the way and snapping teeth at a fellow brown who gets too close, all so he can draw in on Taraveth. The first chance he gets, he lunges for her, wings propelling him powerfully forward. In time with his lifemate's efforts, R'co ignores those warning signs from K'tri and steps to him, shoving roughly at another rider who tries to stop him. "You and me," he mutters as he presses hands to the man's waist, pushing him against the cold wall. It's a risky move, one he'd likely not attempt under different circumstances, but fuck. There's a hot greenrider and a flight and he needs this.

K'tri jerks at being touched, anger definitely there, but there's another jolt along his connection with Taraveth, this time as the green fumbles into the clutches of the foreign brown. He makes a faint noise of protest in the back of his throat, but his hands drop erratically to the front of R'co's pants, desperate with the same urge driving his dragon to mate. He's at least able to work with the fastenings, shuddering as Taraveth gives up trying to keep flying, surrendering to the brown.

Victory is his! Deveriteauxth blares out his success both mentally and orally as he wraps himself around Taraveth, neck twining with hers, wings spread and braced to slow their descent as he falls into that blissful mating state. Happy boy brown! And his rider? R'co groans in relief, murmuring "Oh thank fuck," as he kicks off his boots while K'tri works his pants free. He doesn't even bother with trying to untangle them from around his feet as he works to strip the greenrider of his trousers; once they're free enough, R'co grabs the man's hips and hauls up, intent on getting to it right there, against the cold wall. Who has time for beds at times like these?

At least K'tri is able to get a leg free of the cumbersome pants before he's hefted up. He's frantic enough not to care at least, able to get his legs wrapped around R'co's waist with little effort. He leans forward a bit though, fingers digging into the rider's hair as he holds on, squirming just as eagerly. Have the others even managed to clear out yet? The greenrider is beyond caring, still with Taraveth in a fog.

Does it matter if there are still others there? R'co's continuing regardless of whether there's an audience or not. And through the course of their flight lust the riders somehow end up on the floor of the weyr, with the 'Reaches brownrider cradling the Igenite greenrider as they both lie there, recovering.

K'tri... aches. But as dazed as he is, he doesn't complain about it..yet. He rests beneath R'co instead, breaths coming rapidly as he tries to regain himself. He drops his head back against the floor in exhaustion, legs sliding down as well as the greenrider simply sinks into a nearly boneless state. But at least his mind is clearing completely, ridding himself of his dragon's grip.

R'co, it would seem, is less in Deveriteauxth's grip now - though the brown is still happily twined with Taraveth, if she'll allow it. He - the rider, that is - nestles against K'tri with his face pressed against his neck, breathing hotly against his skin. He'll happily stay that way, too, for as long as he's invited to; he might even have to be woken up.

K'tri tolerates it... at least for a time. All too soon he begins to push at R'co, trying to wedge the brownrider's weight off of himself. And while Taraveth might be content with the cuddling, her rider seems far from it. Another push, and he huffs, blowing a stray bit of hair away from his face. "Are you done now?"

"Hrm?" While not oblivious to the pushing, R'co doesn't seem to have been listening to the talking. He allows himself to be rolled off, rolling onto his back on the floor beside K'tri. His hand drapes over his abdomen and his lips curl up into a very content, feline-got-the-cream smile, which he turns to the greenrider as he lolls his head to the side to look at him. "Fuck." It's a happy 'fuck' - a compliment, even.

K'tri glowers at R'co just a little bit. Compliments? No! Once the brownrider is off of him though, the greenrider rolls away. He's slow about it, muscles aching as he gets up and onto his feet finally, shuffling away to find his pants. "Yes, yes...you just lay there like a log. Enjoy yourself.."

"You're not happy?!" R'co seems shocked, propping himself up on his elbows to watch the greenrider escape. "That was fucking awesome, and you're not happy?" He doesn't get it! The brownrider sits up more fully, watching for a few seconds more before he gets to his feet and follows after K'tri. "Seriously? You're not happy?" Because someone's ego's just taken a massive blow, if that's the case.

"Do you want a prize?" K'tri huffs as he's finally able to get his pants back on. Thankfully they didn't disappear into some forgotten corner. He casts a slight glare at the brownrider though, finally able to set his hands on his hips. "Oh yes, I got off. That doesn't mean I'm required to be happy about it."

R'co snorts. "Yeah it does." He reaches for his shirt, using it to rub over his chest before thrusting it at K'tri. "A souvenir. It's covered in your mess, anyway." Smirking, he bends down to get his own leathers and things then, slipping into them with some difficulty, given the post-sex stickiness of his skin. "You were pretty good, but I was fabulous, darling. If you didn't enjoy that, then... then you've got something wrong with you."

"If you're so fabulous, then go fuck yourself!" K'tri looks positively livid, throwing the shirt back at R'co with a little growl. He snatches his own tunic off the floor then, before he moves right past the brownrider, stalking out of the small cavern in a huff.

"No need to, darling, I'm quite sorted on that front, thanks you!" R'co calls after the storming greenrider, catching the shirt with a laugh. He's happy, right? Deveriteauxth got laid. He got laid. The world is all good again - and R'co knows exactly where he wants to go to celebrate, as he saunters out of the guest weyr and towards his equally satisfied dragon.
