| With the break of dawn on day 15 of Month 6, turn 27, happy tidings were brought to the Weyr: Rielsath had moved during the night to lay High Reaches' newest clutch. After some waiting and a final egg towards mid-morning, the total was declared to be a satisfactory dozen. It's been reported that the queen is already chafing at the bit, protective of her twelve eggs and yet restless at times to enjoy the fine summer weather outside. Anyone interested is welcome to view the mother and her brood from the galleries, as long as Ri doesn't prove too temperamental. |
