Word from Tillek is that the Hold has started turning away all ships-- indeed, that one arrived that had been in the Southern Boll region at one point, and was refused even the opportunity to pick up more supplies. Word, too, is that there was a girl on the deck, screaming for her father. Lady Edeline, however, has made it very clear: Tillek is closed to trade. Similar reports are now beginning to come out of other Holds in the High Reaches region. Although there have been no officially reported cases of plague, Crom and Nabol in particular are guarding their borders as best they can... which is, not admittedly, perfectly. |
