This hollowed out bubble cavern is large enough to fit at least three large dragons, the immensity dwarfing the spartan furnishings and decor - there's an awful lot of open space. A small portion of the room contains a personal bath, enclosed by a carefully carved out strip of rock wall. Faint tendrils of stream waft from the corner, permeating the immediate area with a merging of warmth and cooler temperatures.

In the outermost room, a large stone table is centered in the entranceway, five chairs of wicked wood surrounding it, nearby an old elevator-pulley trap door to the kitchens. The further corner forms the ledge entrance; nearer the baths is a grouping of stands and ceiling hooks that hold a collection of lush, green plants and hanging brightly coloured glass beads. Just next to the greenery is a large glassed-in bookshelf built into the well, filled with books, dishes and glassware, an impressive variety of liquor, and very few keepsakes. In front of the shelves and near the small, neat hearth sit two large, cozy-looking leather armchairs with a low table between them.

Behind a curtain made of more coloured glass beads is a smaller, blue-wash walled room, mostly filled by the big bed made up in shades of blue to match, and lots of pillows. Hanging on the wall over it is a large, beautifully made quilt, its deep blue oceanic tones broken only by the gold of sunbeams in rounded patterns, circling sunbursts in azure shades. At the foot of the bed is a ornately carved chest that matches the sweet redwood wardrobe that stands along the far wall. A short tunnel from this room leads into another that is a little larger, containing an ornate desk and set of shelves that are both almost too neatly organized to be believed - a cozy, private study nonetheless.

It's finally edging towards spring, but that doesn't make it any more pleasant a day up in the mountains. The rain and the mud no doubt is what keeps Iesaryth to the back of her ledge and Aishani to the dry warmth of her weyr. Though the goldrider apparently isn't doing much but traveling around these days, she's apparently got something to keep her busy, papers she's looking over as she stands at the big stone table just inside the entrance, a spill of dark hair obscuring most of her expression.

Now that Balreth's made the arrangements with Iesaryth, Sisha walks briskly down the tunnel from the weyrleaders' complex, her leathers dry and her boots thankfully unmarred by mud. "Aishani?" she calls in with her hand still on the tapestry separating them. Once she's pulled it aside, she sizes up the younger woman, her smile echoed by the crinkles about her eyes. "Good afternoon."

Just shuffling the papers together as the Weyrleader's voice comes into the weyr, Aishani's typically cagey about whatever-it-is she's up to, sorting the lot of the papers into a folder that she closes as Sisha steps in. Her hand, long fingers tented, rest atop it, as she returns the greenrider's smile with one of her own, though brief. "Good afternoon, Sisha, I hope you're well. Busy, I'm sure. Is there anything I can get you?" She doesn't look for mud tracked behind, but given the state of her weyr and her general dress, she's likely grateful.

If Sisha notices, she treats it as par for the course. "Whatever you're having. Including," and here the woman smiles, "if you aren't." She considers the goldrider, demeanor and attire both, then glances about the large weyr with apparent interest. She herself has been spending more time in the weyrleader's weyr, though it's still mostly a glorified office. "I don't suppose you have an itch to join one of the fighting wings?" Though a traditional phrase, Sisha adds a touch of dryness to the adjective.

"I'm not at the moment," Aishani nods to an empty mug off to the side of the folder, "But if you feel the need for anything, do let me know. I have wine, a few other things. It might be a bit on the early side, but..." She gives a little shrug, easy. It's late enough somewhere. It's not a terribly interesting weyr, or it might be in its lack of interest, though there's some things to look at in the glass cabinet there. With an arch of brow for Sisha's question, her lips quirk before, "No. My particular interest in breaking tradition has never leaned in that direction. Do you ask for any particular reason, or just out of curiosity?"

Sisha's shrug is a loose one, and she leans on the back of one of the chairs the way she never does in wing meetings. Her hands are weathered, their joints prominent. "Mostly as curiosity, I have to say, and introduction. We never had come into contact that much, and that won't change unless we choose it." Whichever queen rises first, there will be a new Weyrleader. "I also thought to ask if there's anything you want to tell me, or anything you think I should know, though in your case I expect that the two are much the same."

With a nod, a brisk and business-like one, "I suppose that is true. I saw and still see little benefit to a goldrider or a Weyrwoman interfering in wing business; I wish I could say the same of Wingleaders and the caverns, but that, alas, seems to not be the case." Aishani considers Sisha for a moment, considers the way she's sitting and her words both; she herself has her legs crossed, finger entwined loosely. There's a little quirk of her lips before she allows, "They might be much the same. Though I don't really see why my advice or my thoughts should be of interest to anyone. The wings were in rebellion, my orders were countermanded. Even if I had advice, why should I give it?" None of it is bitter, to her credit, at this point, just politely inquisitive. Why should I bother?

Sisha's low grunt implies agreement for interference. During the goldrider's last statements, it's succeeded by a nod. "Possibly," the acting weyrleader says, "for the satisfaction of someone actually listening. Not that you have to limit yourself to ''advice''."

Tilting her head, Aishani allows a faint smirk to surface. "Someone listens now. When I have little interest in offering anything. I find that timing fascinating. Everyone always expects me to fall in line, but do they? And I appreciate the offer, Sisha -- but there is little productivity in my complaining, nor little benefit I can see in complaining to someone who appointed the head of the rebellion against me and my Weyrleader her second. How is Azaylia taking that, by the way?" Her brows arch again, curious.

"If they still expect you to fall into line," Sisha observes, "they haven't been paying attention. Azaylia likes order. I like order, as long as I'm keeping the seat warm. The wings have more order than once they did, and could stand to have more yet. We function. I wonder, though, that you call him the head of the rebellion. Wasn't it Z'ian who diverted the tithe, for instance? Or is he just a catspaw?"

"Function," Aishani echoes. "It's something. Do you like disorder, when you stop keeping the seat warm? I did like that seat." She does seem a bit wistful, though she adds, "It was never mine." That's about the same, as if it might have been better if it was. With a shake of her ''own'' head, she has to agree with Sisha, "'Head' is overstating the case, perhaps, but I hardly am neutral in ''that'' area. No, I think Z'ian can decide to disrespect me without speaking to me quite on his own." A pause. "I think you need to know that they'll listen to you as long as they agree with you. But in the end, you're just a woman."

Sisha says with some seriousness, if also a glance towards the council chambers and the chairs within it, "It can depend on the scale. Sometimes disorder is required to achieve a new order in anything other than decades. It's just that here it's become an... avalanche, if we must use that word, that would crush all in its path if it could." She smiles slightly. "I never did like that name, 'Avalanche.' Oh, I could rename it now, but I need to spend that capital on other things. The financial funds, as well. And you're right: I am a woman, and a greenrider. Though there was another as Acting Weyrleader in living memory, within those decades no less, too many see that and decide that we've become integrated well enough. It doesn't help Fayla."

With a purse of lips, "I would agree that can be required. And apparently, it is no longer. The avalanche, as it must, has had its way. Everyone has what they wants, and until the tithes come in and we see what the Holds will do to us next, I imagine the rocks will stay where they are. Until one of them rises." Aishani glances to the ledge now, in case Sisha had missed her meaning, but it would be difficult to miss; for the other greenrider-slash-weyrleader, she merely scoffs. "It doesn't help Fayla any more than it helped Taikrin when I found the records. No one cares unless it suits them. Would the weyrlings have been such an issue if a man had been in charge, told them to behave? Would two of them have thought to spy on a ''Hold''? I wonder."

"Until then," Sisha agrees, with a slow nod towards Aishani rather than the ledge itself. "Until then, we will have a breather, if I have anything to say about it. The world is warming, so that's a little more cheerful right there. About those two weyrlings, now." The acting weyrleader moves her hands off the back of the chair, flexes them, and returns them but further apart. "We used to Search younger, and we were more careful to refuse journeymen. Now, there's a reason to Search older, they have more to them, and journeymen have more skills to contribute to the Weyr if only they will, but I don't half wonder whether we might do better to be more careful. What do you think about that? It ''may'', after all, be coincidence that we haven't heard such stories of the younger set."

That nod Aishani's way doesn't make her sit all that comfortably though she'd been fine a moment before. She shifts slightly, leaning forward to rest her elbows on the table. "If it weren't for the mud, it would be close to cheerful," she says, her little dark cloud only allowing her to agree that far. But the question Sisha puts forward arches fine brows, then lowers them in thought; slowly, "If only they will and are ''allowed'' to be part of the Craft, still an issue, apparently. Incidents of the like will not help the case of riders who would like to officially continue. It's worth looking at, whether it's coincidence. It may be difficult to break the independent habits of certain ranks."

Sisha chuckles, even so. "Of course it's still an issue. If we weyrfolk can steal away the crafthalls' trained personnel any time we like, and their secrets with them, doesn't it chip away at their hold? There are benefits to being part of their Craft, up-to-date information and respect among them, and I would have agreed about the disincentive to act in such a way if it weren't for those two living examples. But if they are still part of their Crafts, it does put their loyalty more into question, doesn't it? As to breaking independence," she looks at the other woman with due thought.

"When you put it like that, perhaps there's good reason to be more careful, both in terms of our relations with the Halls and potential issues with Journeymen. Apparently at least the former Harper is most certainly former. For how long?" Aishani shrugs a touch again, apparently not too concerned outwardly, though her smile is quite lovely as she notes, "Everyone's loyalty is in question. It's just a matter of the extent. It might widen a touch for the consideration, but she merely says, "I don't intend to be a problem."

Sisha has a shrug for that question of duration as well, one that leads to another chuckle as the woman continues. "Here I was actually thinking that it's not that I want to ''break'' independent habits, even in wingleaders, only put them to good use. However, I won't say as I'm not reassured," and there's a fuller smile, though one that never was as lovely as the goldrider's, even in her prime. "Is there anything else just now, Aishani, before I leave you in peace?"

"Redirect them, then. Until such a time that they won't be put to ''destructive'' use. There's something to be said for initiative, but I never like not knowing what's going on, ''especially'' when it's a responsibility to do so. Some people think that suspicious, I just think it... anticipating issues. Not that it's ''my'' job." Aishani's not going to bother otherwise, or so she implies. Whether she can manage to avoid that or not is the question. Quirking a faint smile, dryly, "I do try to be reassuring." She'll think about the question at least, before telling Sisha, "Not now, but if I think of anything..." She'll let the Weyrleader know.

Sisha nods, and nods again. "Of course it's not," the older woman says affably, some amusement showing. Aishani doesn't appear to care about the place at ''all'', no, never. "Thank you. While the thoughts on Search, at least, won't be relevant to ''me'' by then... I won't say I won't be curious anyway. Good afternoon to you and Iesaryth, then, what remains of it." She gives the goldrider a courteous nod, then departs.
