Desc:	Room descriptions from the game can be pasted in directly here. This is optional! If you want to format more traditionally, put them in the log box instead. There is ample room in both the couch and rider's living areas for visitors to stretch out comfortably. A massive quilted curtain comprised of rich greens, blues, golds and oranges hangs on a curved rod. The curtain can be drawn closed for privacy between the two spaces whenever desired or tied back out of the way. Work-areas have been arranged around the room carved into the very cavern walls themselves, each equipped with it's own curtians to hide the area from view of visitors. The stations are comprised of exceptionally spacious stone counter-tops, with stone shelves and tool hooks above. Nearest the hearth, one of these counters contains a utilitarian sink with a pump and copper piping attached disappearing up into the ceiling and along the edge of the wall to the ledge outside where it discretely drops off for drainage into the Bowl wall. If one follows the pipe through the ceiling it leads to a large metal cistern tucked into a niche above the entrance of the weyr. Of the furnishings the bed is perhaps the most noticeable, Large, and bolted into the ceiling by sturdy chains it can be raised and lowered via another pulley system, and piled high with quilts and pillows in the same rich blues and greens. A large overstuffed couch is settled in front of the hearth and the rest of the furnishings, desk, table chairs and the like either fold into the wall or into a niche to make more space when needed. From the ceiling dozens of wine and liquor bottles in various colors have been converted to glow baskets, bathing the room in soft multi colored light and hang at various lengths. The hearth is a large affair with an actual oven carved into one of its walls and a metal grill that can be pulled out over the flame for cooking. An assortment of large pots, dishes and spices assorted for use. A nearby niche sports three medium sized barrels tapped and stacked in a vertical rack. They sit next to an over large wine cabinet that someone has recently painted with maps and scenes from all over Pern. Perhaps the den of some mad former smithcrafter with too much time on his or her hands during the interval, or perhaps more recently an equally mad former scribe, obsessed with good vintages and color.
Log:	Time had gotten away from her again, Edyis realized as she found the bottle sitting on her ledge. Popping the cork as she stepped inside the weyr proper she could only guess at who had left it, but the vintage was of an excellent quality. A soft snort escaped as she stripped out of her flight gear and set the bottle on the counter. Half expecting the giver to be inside waiting for her, but the room was empty save for the firelizard dozing on the bookcase and the dragon making his way over to his couch. << I could always call someone you know, I'm sure Ilicaeth's or Tacuseth's wouldn't mind coming over, and it's good weather for cuddling. >> The brownrider shook her head, stripping off the leather flight jacket and hanging it on its hook nearby with a snort. "Thank you for the thought, but I can keep my own bed warm. And knowing you, you'd pick someone awkward." Peeling the tunic from her ink-stained skin and tossing it into the laundry bin, filling the basin and stoking up the fire. << You haven't minded the last few we caught. >> Edyis laughed, "Flights are one thing Ak, and really I'm fine. Just tired." dipping a cloth into the basin and ringing it out before pressing it to her neck and shoulders. "Not like we need mayhem and debauchery on every turnday. Won't kill me to stay in for this one. There'll be another next turn." The brown cocked his head, studying his lifemate in the firelight. << You are happy now, aren't you Edyis? >> The use of her full name caught her attention, almost as much as the question itself. "You know my moods better than anyone. Why bother asking?" A warm rush of sea wind brushed her thoughts. << ''Because'' I know your moods better than anyone. >> She contemplated that for a minute. "Snowdrift is working out for us. I mean, we belong there now don't we? Might never see a wingsecond knot, but I'd like to believe that we are good at what we do. Business has been good too, more saved up than I know what to do with at the minute. Life has been peaceful." << You were curious about the smelly one's kids. >> Edyis nearly choked with laughter, "Drex?" << You asked if they were happy. >> Her expression turned contemplative as she finished washing in the basin, dumping the dirty water into the sink and fetching one of her favorite sets of pajamas from their place on the shelf. "I just wondered what it would have been like is all. Since it isn't something I can do, I was curious." Akluseth stared at her, before settling on his couch, nose pointed inward where he could keep watch. << You won't try to have one, will you? After what the healers told you? >> Edyis shook her head, moving over to rest a hand on the dragon's muzzle. "Are you worried that I might?" << I just want you to be happy. >> "I won't." She wrapped her arms around his neck, or as much of it as she could manage anyway. "I have you. That is enough to make me happy, more than any job or lover or child ever could." Akluseth could feel it in the warmth of her thoughts, the strength of her arms around his neck. She truly meant it. And sleepily he imagined that the rush of warmth and joy that burst across his thoughts was the same as what he'd felt all those turns ago when he first tumbled into her path. He drifted to sleep, dreaming of cracking shells, joyous first meetings, and the beginnings of partnerships that would last a lifetime.
