She's a guard (with enough that might imply) through and through...but she's disaffected and angry, full of jaded bitterness beyond her scant years from a rougher life.  Jaecar : Thank you, Farsights, for showing me how to trust a little again, in some ways...and for enough other firsts. Why is it that only after your loss I find myself admitting how much you meant to me? Rest in peace, Master of the Tops; I'll never look at the sea in the same way ever again.

-She's originally a guard from Pars Hold, and will always be one, even if  she's now a rider. You can take the warrior out of the war, but not  vice-versa. She's a hard-ass, with little tolerance for foolishness or shallow behaviors, possessed of a 'take-it or leave it' attitude and a quirky temperament. Less-than-enthusiastic about mixing with most people, and enjoying a very active lifestyle (including the occasional, joyous fistfight), she's a fierce flame that enough times can scorch friend as well as foe.
