-Since he took Hold, Devaki has held a council of advisors, similar to the Island's hierarchy. Only recently has the council's make-up been more widely known outside those in the know: in addition to former Lord Holder Braeden, there are two older Blooded High Reachians, and three Islanders.  Rounding out the council are a non Blooded farmer -- a woman of all things! -- and interestingly, a Seacraft Master. The fact that there is no Harper on this so-called-council is probably cause for discussion, though the Hold's Journeyman hasn't spoken out publicly -- yet.
