 With the holds in the Fort Area still recovering from former Lord Astivan's impossible tithing demands and the Lord disappearing with the profits, it seems as if the Weyr will not further trouble them to provide their young, capable people to Stand for the eggs that will soon be on the Sands. Instead, they may have a Candidate class completely made up of Fort residents. Whether this was a demand of new Lord Fort Vaion or a decision made by the Weyrleaders, at least those weyrbred Candidates have a reason to be excited about the lack of holders taking ''their'' dragons.

		+	\|home=On day 4 of Month 7, after a rather oddly long time of the senior Weyrwoman Hattie seemingly affected by her dragon's proddiness, Elaruth finally rose only to be secured once again by N'muir's Bijedth, keeping the Weyrleadership of Fort stable once again. Almost two turns since her own last flight, it seems that Elaruth's tendency to rise often is proving to be fortuitous for Fort, given that junior queen Eliyaveith still does not seem likely to rise since her own disastrous maiden flight.
