|home=Eight months after the assassination of Iolene and Ysavaeth, both of High Reaches' remaining juniors rose at the same time, albeit at opposite ends of the planet. In the resultant mess, two browns won the two flights, leaving High Reaches in the unheard of position of having two Weyrwomen... and two brownriding Weyrleaders. One of whom was a woman.

Oh boy.

The pair of young queens laid a collective clutch of twenty-four eggs upon High Reaches' sands just before the end of Turn 30. Some time later, Brieli announced herself Acting Weyrwoman, with Taikrin as her Acting Weyrleader (never mind that Taikrin's Szadath had caught ''Hraedhyth'' and not Iesaryth)... and some time after that former Weyrleader K'del accused H'kon, the other brownrider involved, of being involved in Iolene's murder. Publicly.

It's no wonder it was a relief when, on the first day of the fourth month, Turn 31, those eggs hatched into three bronzes, five browns, seven blues and nine greens.
