Rielsath had shown no real signs of proddiness before she was set off by the arrival of several foreign golds during the graduation of Ysavaeth and Cadejoth's clutch. Rising into the middle of a snowstorm, she was caught quickly - by brown Svissath of Monaco, not yet graduated from weyrlinghood. Using the opportunity to improve relations between the two Weyrs, Monaco's Weyrleaders arranged for seventeen-turn-old I'kris to spend the next few months at High Reaches.

A brown sire and a short flight made the eventual seven eggs not unanticipated. It was while those eggs were still on the sands that Weyrwoman Iolene was murdered, which resulted in a closed-down hatching with no real celebrations. Despite that, hatching day remained an important event for seven of High Reaches' young people, who Impressed the brown, two blues and four greens that hatched from Rielsath's clutch.

This was Rielsath's last High Reaches clutch: after young I'kris was implicated, convicted and sentenced for the murder of Iolene, she elected to accept an invitation to move to Honshu.
