Night reverberates around this egg, umbral-dark and vaguely menacing, as it hulks on the sands. The total absence of light on leathery surface is the blackest of pitch, in which lurk tentacled monsters and giant spinners alike, ready to devour the unwary. Yet seen from the other side, the darkness gives way to a white so pure it glows silvery bright. This radiance outlines the fissures in the surface, perhaps calling to mind the glow of Timor or Belior at their fullest. It battles against the darker face, driving away the howl of fear and transforming it into a more comforting, familiar object.

'''Inspiration:''' Inspired by the Umbra. In traditional mythology the werewolf is controlled by the phase of the moon. In White Wolf’s werewolf gaming system, the Garou are less in the moon’s thrall, but it has taken on more spiritual aspects. When the moon is full the ‘Umbra’ – the other side of reality – is safe(r), with plenty of light to see. When the moon is dark the Umbra is a terrifying place, filled with monsters of all sorts.

A moment later, the entire surface shatters into a thousand tiny pieces, stranding a Darkness and Light Bronze Dragonet on its back.''

== Darkness and Light Bronze Hatchling ==
From the darkness of night comes a strike of lightning. Even just out of the shell, the flash and shimmer of this bronze’s metallic hide is bright enough to make the eye squint. A pale and dusty caramel base color is gilded with amber, nickel, and pearl marbling that lends the dragonet a daunting brilliance. The lustrous hues coalesce across his back and neck, seeping down to the limbs, tail and fingersails, mingling with copper and brass. Here, at his extremities, it darkens, thickens, blackens, and gathers strength. Buffed, polished bronze emerges, flecked and riddled with sienna coruscation. This cloud of color shows up along the angle of his wedge-shaped head, as well, cloaking him in a cryptic midnight that contrasts with the brilliance found elsewhere–a dichotomy of burnished metal mixed with glass. Long and lean, his frame promises size and strength as he ages, while the thin membranes of his delicate wings, once unveiled, offer another flash of luminescent light.
