== Vaporous Whisper Green Hatchling ==
Morning mist eddies over and around this dainty green, shafts of gilt dawn brightening her absinthe hide to translucent pearl. Frozen light slips endlessly over her hide, the play of shadows giving her a new appearance with each changing movement. Waiflike eyes, large and luminous, are set like moonstones above a teacup-fine muzzle. A vaporous breath of minted moonlight whispers over dewy headknobs, catching the color and dripping it down delicate neck to pool in the hollow between her narrow-sprung wings. Frosted slate claims her spars, the darkest shade to trace her hide. The ice-traced stone marbles its twisting way over angular joints but ends abruptly at ‘sails, as if loathe to break through the filmy surface, or splash into arctic chill. New ice crackles across her wings, all colors refracting from the blade-thin fractals that claim her wings in treacherous beauty. Sun kisses the ridge of her back despite the shiver of her wings, and plays over the clouded frozen river claiming the entire reach of elongated tail.
