== Firestorm Forest Brown Hatchling ==
Amber-russet will-o-wisps race over this brown dragonet’s hide like sparks sent up a chimney after a massive log feeds the fire. The pinpoints glimmer, point and counterpoint against a hide that would otherwise be a plain, ordinary taupe. The whorls highlight the tracings of his bones against his egg-starved hide; his frame may never reach ‘imposing’ or ‘broad-chested’. His build is whipcord thin out to the kite of his too-long tail. His sloped eyeridges give him a distinctly squared look, emphasized by the darker smudges of ash underneath his narrow eyes. A medley of light sienna, umber, and beige simulates the lurid glow of flame upon a tree across his wings. The effect is accentuated by the deep woody tones of his veins offering brief glimpses of cinder tarnished twigs and branches. An unseen wind jumbles these limbs together, the variation petering out into the stolid bark of his suedelike hide.
