''Scratching, scrabbling noises emanate from the Basket of Laundry Egg as it shakes to and fro. The shell begins to thin in a few spots before the frantic dragonet’s talons finally break through. Out! Now! There’s more scratching and crunching as the dragonet breaks out, falling onto her side in the sand, covered with sticky bits of shell. ''

== Reflective Fire-Lit Green ==

Certainly a lot of work is required in breaking open one’s own shell, but now that the shards of the Basket of Laundry Egg have exploded outward, this small dragonet sits amongst the pieces, for the moment, quietly surveying all around her. Hide of a deep green, reminiscent of jungle fronds, she sparkles as though sunlight was shining down on her, reflective patches of auburn and red, with bright golden yellows dance over her back and down the length of her tail, a sleek creature of fire-like intensity. Wingsails nearly transparent in their newness seem more like antiqued copper than pure green, with the occasional flicker of both bronze and gold. As she strikes a pose on the sands, her own inherent quiet pride is visible.

The Reflective Fire-lit Green Hatchling stops in her tracks, eyes still whirling their hunger but tinged with somethingmore. She lifts her head, a shadow of the poise she’ll have when full grown, and looks this way, pausing, and then that way. Red-orange eyes whirl faster, all but spitting out fragments of light. Then, with purpose and determination, she steps forward, gently nosing a pair of young Candidates out of the way, heading straight for one particular girl. Coming up upon a girl with wavy, light brown hair, she croons happilyand then sneezes.
