Huge eyes whirling with confusion and excitement seem to dominate the long face of this humble brown. His befuddled demeanor suggests contemplation of deep and serious truths, but his physical self is firmly grounded in the real world. His hide is the rich colour of fertile earth, a matte colour that absorbs the light the way dry soil absorbs water. Spatters of a lighter sandy brown speckle across his snout and along his sides down to his legs. His body is slung low to the ground, with a sturdiness that presages he’ll be strong and steady in the sky.
