== Lightning on the Sea Egg ==
A rolling wave of cool green anchors this egg in the sands. White froth licks around the fat curve at one end, sweeping up and over a smallish brown cresent topped with a reddish square, almost like a boat tossed on stormy seas. Nestled in the curving embrace of green is a roiling gray-pink cloud bank. Dotted along the clouds are bright, pure white spots like flashes of lightning. Spidery veins of the same white crawl along the mass. In the center, where the clouds meet the green wave, there is a light golden glow that seems to flicker like light under crystal clear waters.

''The sands beneath the Lightning on the Sea Egg shiver under the rhythmic thudding coming from within the hard, hearty shell. The determination of the hatchling is fierce, however, and soon a large section of the egg breaks off, leaving a small wedge shaped head exposed. The pale hide gleams with a tinge of green that deepens in the rest of the hide that is exposed. The egg doesn’t stand a chance, breaking apart swiftly to reveal all of the Silver-Etched Suede Green Dragonet.''

== Silver-Etched Suede Green Hatchling ==
A yellow-green halo drapes this dragonet over delicately sloped headknobs, shoulders, and down her strong neckridges, where it fades into a soft olive green. The olive hue sweeps down her muscled back, over lean, compact haunches and through the back legs. From the knees down, however, the olive color gives way to a darker, richer forest green. The forest color repeats itself in the soft underbelly and along the tops of the wingsails. The wing membranes, in contrast, are a pale wash of icy silvery lime. Darker hints of forest suede ripple along these fanciful sails, peeking through here and there as the veins show through delicate skin. Light glints off delicate seams of ice that swirl along the dragonet’s shoulders and along her upper back and neckridges, like silvery etching on a piece of exquisite green suede.
