== Blustering Boastful Blue ==

Purest, loveliest sunset blue: that patch of sky near the horizon and not close enough to pick up the glory of the sun’s own colors, it shines with dusky blue, hints of purple and near-aqua. Beautiful in its own right, not needing to compete with sunset reds and purples: across this dragonet’s hide it spills, lightening to darkish sky blue on eyeridges, edge of wingsails, and hinting along the definitions of muscle. As he proudly holds his wings high to dry them, it’s more obvious to the gallery’s spectators than to those on the sands: the dark lines that travel from nosetip to tailtip, wingtip to wingtip, and trail down along the outside of all his limbs form a line with three crosses, vaguely reminiscent of the sky seen through dark-lined panes of glass.

The Blustering Boastful Blue swaggers around each of the groups of Candidates on the hot Sands. He is delighted to let so many – oh, yes, there are females out there – see his magnificence. And there are so very many Candidates to choose from too, but that is no less than what he deserves.
